English Conversation Doctor & Patient.

Patient =  May i come in doctor?

Doctor =  Yes come in. Take your seat. 

Patient = Thank you doctor. 

Doctor = What's your name?

Patient =  Kiriti Singh. 

Doctor =  And how old are you?

Patient =  I am 29.

Doctor = Okay. Now, can you tell me What Challenges you're currently facing?

Patient =  Since yesterday night i have been having severe stomach ache.

 

Doctor =  Any other symptoms?

Patient = Yeah, i also had bouts of vomiting last night and today morning as well. 

Doctor =  Do you have a headache?

Patient = No

Doctor = Did you have this kind of stomach ache before?

Patient = Yes doctor. I have it once before. 

Doctor = How many days ago?

Patient = Almost 3 months ago. But at that time the pain stopped after i look an antacid. 

Doctor = Please lie on that bed. I have to check. 

Patient =  ok doctor

Doctor = Does it hurt here?

Patient =  Yes doctor. It hurts a lot. 

Doctor =  Ok you can get up now.

Patient = Is it something serious doctor?

Doctor =  I can't say now. I'm writing down some tests. 

Try to do this by today. 

Patient =  But about now? I can't even walk properly because of the pain.

Doctor = I understand. I'm giving you an injection for temporary relief. 

Patient = Injection? Don't you have any medicine?

Doctor = Why? Are you scared of injection?

Patient = It's not like that i mean

It would be better if you could give some medicine 

Doctor = Nothing will happen, you won't even fill it. Look at that side. 

Patient = Please doctor, be careful.

Patient =  Oh ok doctor.

( About covid - 19) 

Patient = good morning, doctor. 

Doctor = good morning how are you? 

Patient =  I'm doing well, doctor, but my son is not doing well. Every where, people are gating affected with covid and  i am really warried about his. 

Doctor: Kindly take a seat and explain what Brings you here today.

Patient =  My doctor come back from Mumbai as his college was closed on account of covid - 19 from the second day, he has had high fever and has been coughing badly. 

Doctor =  Okay i understand your concern. Having a fever and cough does not necessarily mean that someone has contracted the virus. Still, to put your warries to rest, I'm prescribing some medicine and rt pcr test. Do the test by tomorrow, and if the test results, are positive, make sure he is isolated. On the other hand. If the result is negative, just give his the medicine and ask his to drink a lot of water. Also, bring his in so i could examine his. 

Patient = okay doctor. I will bring his in the evening. Thank you. 

Doctor =  You welcome.
